Maaike Ronhaar is a Dutch photographer based in Twente, the Netherlands. She specialises in analogue photography. Her work moves between portraiture and documentation.

Rooted in the energy of music, on stage, behind the scenes and on tour, her artistic vision was shaped by environments where intensity, vulnerability and expression coexist. Moving through sound and movement, she found the foundation for a style that is poetic, timeless and mystical yet with a raw edge.

Her work is an exploration of authenticity and belonging, an antidote to an increasingly curated world.
