About
Maaike Ronhaar is a visual artist based in Twente, in the Dutch Lowlands. Her work moves between portraiture and documentation, using analogue and digital photography as her artistic language.
Creative concepts are at the heart of her work, giving each project its own visual direction. She explores themes of authenticity and belonging as an antidote to an increasingly curated world.
